Auction Notice for East Andover Surplus

Lands in Maine at Auction, by order of the General Court.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given, that on the first Thursday of February ensuing, at 1 o'clock, at Merchants' Hall, in Boston, will be exposed for sale, at vendue, by the Commissioners of the Land Office, a tract of Land situated in Oxford County commonly called the East Andover Surplus, containing about 18653 acres, consisting of a variety of soil calculated for the growth of grass or grain; bounded on the flourishing town of East Andover, and near the flourishing town of Neury, and other settlements contiguous, having a public road laid out, and opened through the same at the expence of the Commonwealth, in a direction from the northern part of New-Hampshire to Hallowell.
